The United Methodist Women of Central United Methodist Church are looking forward to a year filled with good things... learning, fellowship, and special events. On September 8 at the General Meeting Beverly Van Devender will share her experiences in word and pictures of her trip to the Holy Land. The day is also "Guest Day." It will begin at noon with a potluck dinner followed by the program. Invitations have been sent to the area United Methodist Women. All women of CUMC are invited to attend also. We hope to see many of you there as we host this special event. |

Our Confirmation journey for students in 8th grade (or older) will begin this Sunday (Aug. 29)! Confirmation is a time for our youth and their families to explore our faith: how does the Christian faith relate to life in the twenty-first century? What does the Bible teach us about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit? What does it mean to be a Christian? |
